01Delivery Coverage & PIN Codes

We are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and always on time. We currently deliver to major cities across India.

Once you enter your PIN code, you'll see a message confirming either "We ship to the pin code XXXXXX" or "We regret that we don't ship to the pin code XXXXXX."

We may not yet cover all PIN codes in India, but we're steadily expanding as we're able to service new locations. If your area isn't currently serviceable, you're welcome to choose a different, serviceable location, or contact our customer care team for more details.

02Order & Address Rules

Each order may currently be shipped only to a single destination address. If you'd like to ship to multiple addresses, you'll need to place separate orders for each.

03Dispatch Timelines

We make our best efforts to ship each order within 4–7 working days. In some cases, it may take a little longer — up to 9 working days — if we need to procure a particular title from another store or supplier.

If we're unable to ship your order completely within 6 days, we'll reach out as per your instructions to either ship the remainder later or cancel the unshipped portion, and you'll receive an email confirming the same. Any payment against the unshipped part of the order will be refunded through the original payment method.

We ship on all weekdays, Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays.

04Delivery Timelines

Mumbai deliveries are typically completed within 3–5 days post shipment. Deliveries outside Mumbai are typically completed within 4–7 days post shipment, excluding the date of shipping.

05Damaged or Tampered Packages

If you believe your book(s) are not in good condition, or the packaging looks tampered with or damaged, please refuse to accept delivery of the package. Then email us at customercare@bargainbookhutonline.com, mentioning your order reference number, and we'll make every effort to arrange a replacement delivery as quickly as possible.

06Order Tracking

You can track the shipping status of your order on our website by clicking the tracking link sent to you once your order has been shipped.

07Free Delivery Threshold

Enjoy free delivery on all orders above ₹1,000.

08Pricing Information

Bargain Book Hut ensures to provide accurate book and pricing information; however, pricing or typographical errors may occur. We cannot confirm the price of a book until after you order.

In the event that a book is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or book information, Bargain Book Hut shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that book unless the book has already been dispatched. If a book is mispriced, we may, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Unless the book ordered by you has been dispatched, your offer will not be deemed accepted, and Bargain Book Hut will have the right to modify the price of the book and contact you for further instructions, or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation.

09Cancellation by Bargain Book Hut

There may be certain orders we're unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason — including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in book or pricing information, or issues identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verification or information before accepting an order, and we'll inform you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or requires more information.

If your order is cancelled after your bank/credit/debit card/UPI/PayTM/Wallet has been charged, the amount will be refunded or credited back to your account, through the same means as the original payment. We seek authorization on your card for the aggregate amount of your order, but may only capture the amount corresponding to the portion of the order we're able and willing to fulfil, along with any associated shipping charges, taxes, and levies. Any surplus authorization amount not captured within the period stipulated by our merchant banker will not be charged. If it's charged in error, we'll refund it as soon as we become aware of it.

Bargain Book Hut reserves the right to capture or charge your card up to the full or partial authorised amount for the concerned order, and reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of software or system malfunction — in which case, any amount received will be refunded in full.

10Returns/Exchange through Courier Collection

Books once sold and delivered are not returnable. However, we will exchange a title received in damaged condition for a fresh copy, against the original packing and receipt of the order. We'll arrange pickup through our courier once we receive your request — at our cost.
